Gakuen Heaven: Boy’s Love Scramble and Double Scramble Will be on PS Vita Soon

Gakuen Heaven 2: Double Scramble 2015-02-04

Gakuen Heaven: Boy’s Love Scramble was originally released on the PC, and then to the PS2 and PSP. It’s been so popular it’s even spawned an anime and a musical. Last year it received a sequel in the form of Gakuen Heaven 2: Double Scramble.

Both of these titles will finally be coming to the Playstation Vita. They will also be fully compatible with Vita TV.

Gakuen Heaven: Boy’s Love Scramble

In Boy’s Love Scramble, average student Keita Itou is accepted into the prestigious Bell Liberty Academy. The goal of the game is to solve the mystery surrounding Itou’s acceptance to the institution. While players do that, they also get to enjoy dalliances between the game’s protagonist and the cast of characters at the all-boys school.

The yaoi will be available for the Vita on February 11 in Japan, and will cost 5,940 yen. Most of the background visuals have been redone, and the game’s resolution has been increased to 960 × 544 pixels. The Vita version of the game comes with a “tint adjustment function” which can emulate the PC tones or the Vita tones while rendering.

Gakuen Heaven 2: Double Scramble

Gakuen Heaven 2 was released on Windows PCs last year in Japan.

The sequel takes place after Boy’s Love Scramble, and involves the protagonist becoming the president of the academy’s student council. The sequel’s age rating is 15+ instead of 18+; it stands to reason the risque scenarios have been toned down. Technical specifications for the Vita version of the game have not been released yet.

You can watch the opening movie for the sequel below.

Gakuen Heaven 2: Double Scramble will be launching on the PS Vita on April 23 in Japan. The PC game is already out, and has a reference price of 8,424 yen.
