Koei Tecmo has revealed that Deception IV: Another Princess is going to come with modern day levels that run the gamut of hospitals, outdoor parks, and even high school gymnasiums.
The new character named Ephemera was revealed:
Ephemera
Ephemera is an automaton that is in the service of Valgyrie, who ended up helping Valgyrie regain her strength after a long rest. Ephemera teaches her the methods of offering human souls to the Fiend, and how to progress through the story segments in Darkside Heaven. She has been in service for a long time, hence her body seemingly being in disrepair.
Each of the modern stages comes with their own unique traps:
School Gymnasium
- Ball Spiker – This device shoots three volleyballs at your enemies.
- Kendo Machine Men – A machine donning a kendo mask, performing the traditional “men!” strike.
- Vaulting Box – This vaults your enemy both high and forward, after stepping on the springboard.
Mikage Workers Hospital
- Aquarium – If you push your enemy into the fish tank, they might get electrocuted.
- Electric Shock – Sounds like what it is – possibly makes your enemy recoil as they’re shocked with electricity.
- Operating Table – This allows you to tie your enemy down for a period of time.
- Syringe – Upon stabbing+injecting your enemy, you can slow them down for a period of time.
- Wheelchair – You can propel your enemy into a wall, making them fly out of their seat.
Souma East Park
- Rolling Ball – You can flight gigantic balls at your enemy.
- Rotating Jungle Gym – This shoves the enemy’s head into the spinning jungle gym, only to make them spin and fly away.
- Slide – Allows you to fling your enemy to the upper slide with a big kick.
- Spiral Slide – If you drop your enemy onto the spiral slide, they’ll be able to ride it down.
- Spring Panda – This launches your enemy off the ride-able panda.
Deception IV: The Other Princess is coming on March 26, 2015 in Japan, for the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and Vita.
