Elminage Gothic Seeking Beta Testers

The sequel to the original cult-hit “under-the-radar” dungeon RPG Elminage (Which was a PSP/Vita game available only on PSN) was announced for PC this past May, and it subsequently made every Wizardry-loving CRPG’er weep with joy. Noted for being even more content rich and better balanced than the original (Which was fairly large and challenging, I must say), it was a surprise many fans simply never expected.

Well pile on another surprise to that list, because developer Ghostlight has just let it be known that they are accepting applications for those interested in beta testing the game.

If you’re interested, you’ll need to send an email to [email protected] and include your name, birthdate and PC specifications. Apparently, they are not only looking to try the game on varied hardware, but also want to find those who have experience with the series and/or people who have beta tested games before.

As a huge fan of the first who considers it the second best RPG you can get on the Vita right now (After Demon Gaze), it’s definitely worth a shot. Perhaps you can help Ghostlight avoid the horrible debacle the first game’s lackluster translation caused.
